We are currently looking to recruit a Wild Contractor Maintenance Manager to be responsible for the day to day engineering management of Wildcat Contractor Maintenance at RNAS Yeovilton.

You will be responsible for leading a team of sub contract personnel providing Forward support and aircraft provision to the Army Wildcat Training Squadron and have responsibility for managing and maintaining 7 Wildcat aircraft.

You should have a deep understanding of all aspects of aircraft maintenance engineering, maintenance planning and documentation as well as being educated to HNC level or equivalent in an aviation related subject.

You will have military service technical training to Artificer level or have undergone an equivalent civilian / military engineering apprenticeship and operated as a civilian engineering manager in a military aviation environment.

This role offers a supported working environment with the opportunity to work in close liaison with delivery teams and external agencies to offer a first class maintenance service. As such you should be an experience people manager who can gain credibility quickly with both employees and internal and external stakeholder.
