Job Description:

User Accounts Maintenance Support Specialist in support of the AFNCR IT Services program.

The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. The User Accounts Maintenance Team provides a qualified, motivated staff to manage and implement approximately 18,000 routine requirements per year. Routine requirements project team manage installations, moves, adds, changes, and upgrades. Upon receiving approval from the 844 CG personnel will quickly assign these requirements to account maintenance and desktop support staff whose teams are built to complete implementation of the planned routine requirements workload within 3 business days.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process, track, and manage up to 18,000 routine requirements (13,000 are historically account creation/deletion/modification/management requests).

• Record and track routine requirements in the EITSM, which provides email updates to customers when there is a change in status or an update on a requirement.

• Include and report all VIP account maintenance requests and inquiries to upper management.

• Provide discrepancies report discovered during analysis to management.

• Resolve unclear problems and issues related to account creation, deletion, and modifications while keeping upper management inform of all actions taken.

• Continuously review and update the service catalog, evaluate requirements, and make solution-based recommendations to customers to enhance mission capability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Currently possess CompTIA Security+ce certification.

• Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Military experience and comfortable working with Senior Military Leaders.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel.

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts.

• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team.
