Southwest United Industries Tulsa operates from a 100,000 square feet modern and well-maintained facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Former headquarters for Southwest United Industries (prior to acquisition), the site offers single source metal finishing for newly manufactured parts and for repair and overhaul applications.

Position Summary:
Selected candidates for a Level Three Thermal Spray Operator position, building on the level 2 requirements, level 3 Thermal Spray Operators will troubleshoot and maintain the equipment. Candidates must be self-disciplined and self-motivated individuals with strong accountability (attention to details) skills. Candidates must have the ability and desire to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production environment, be resourceful and innovative along with presenting a strong business ethic and compliance to leadership and company policies, and a good communicator with the ability to represent the company in a positive manner.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Maintain all applicable equipment
* Trouble the spray system
* Develop advanced techniques
* Able to train and develop Thermal Spray Operators at various levels
* Must be able to effectively communicate
* Must be able to complete all required paperwork
* Understand, adhere, and demonstrate to the company’s commitment to QUALITY and SAFETY!
* Maintaining regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule
* Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions
* Wear and maintain proper personal equipment (PPE)
* Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
* Able to read micrometers, Vernier calipers, thickness testers;
* Basic computer skills required;
* Must have the ability to read and interpret work orders;
* Outstanding attention to detail;
* Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and willingness to perform extra work and take on new projects; and,
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment; with a strong sense of teamwork
Required Experience:
* 2 - 3 years in the Thermal Spray Operator Level 2 role
Level of Education:
* College Diploma preferred
