SAS IT & Digital Innovation is responsible for all IT within Scandinavian Airlines, has 100 employees and is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, just outside Stockholm. The organization is divided in 6 main departments and in the role you will report to

Head of Portfolio Management (PMO).

SAS is a digital leader and has a long history of developing innovative solutions that revolutionize the airline industry.

A central piece in this work is within the SAS Portfolio Management Office thus ambition is to build and maintain the overall IT & Digital Innovation portfolio and deliver business value for SAS with IT as a business enabler and technology innovator. The goal is to always enhance the quality in the project deliveries and to increase precision in planning, forecasting and budgeting. We also drive to increase the knowledge and skills within Project/Program/Portfolio & Steering group management at SAS.

To raise our game even further, we are now looking for a Test Process Owner & Test Manager to enhance our team and help us build our test competence area to enable us to deliver even more successful projects.

As Test Process Owner you have an overall responsibility of the SAS Test Process.

You will develop and implement the test process both towards the business stakeholders and internally within IT & Digital Innovation through communication and education. You will perform test process reviews and ensure project alignment with SAS test methodology.

You will also be responsible as System Manager for the SAS test tool.

As Test Manager you have an overall responsibility to act as a test role model in projects and programs within SAS, to promote the work with our test methods and test tools. You are responsible for test planning, test execution and test reporting in one or several strategically important projects. The role acts like an internal consultant in projects in different business units as well as within IT with opportunity to learn about SAS different areas and challenges.

Some of the main areas of responsibility

* To develop and maintain the SAS project test process and supporting tool

* Support other internal or external test managers in SAS test methodology and it´s most common tools, like how to do requirement handling / test planning, how to present test results and how to use specific test tools

* Manage test process in projects of all sizes, often large and cross functional projects of strategic importance for SAS

* Responsible for managing a test plan within budget, on time and with the right scope

* Responsible for reporting a projects test financials, test deliverables and test progress in a qualitative manor

* Engage with our business units and IT to create and drive test teams and involve stakeholders towards success

Experience and Background

* Master degree (or equivalent)

* Minimum 5 years of working experience within the area

* Preferably a certification within test and requirement management e.g. ISTQB or similar

* Extensive experience from test management

Both with traditional methods as well as agile, hybrid or LEAN oriented ways of working

* Extensive experience from testing in IT related projects and thus understanding the added complexity

* Speak and write English and a Scandinavian langue fluently

You are structured, analytical, ambitious and a thorough person who get things done. You are commercially driven, result oriented, take responsibility and have a will to deliver results.

You like to develop and enhance the test process and run test teams and you communicate easily with stakeholders on all levels. As a person, you have a high degree of independence, integrity, personal drive and capability to take own initiatives.

About our Office

Frösundavik is a great place to work. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. It’s located in a green area of Solna and close to Hagaparken and Brunnsviken. There’s a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
