POSITION PURPOSE

Performs a variety of administrative activities in assisting the recruitment process, such as overseeing special programs, conducting post-interview surveys, and tracking travel and lodging accommodations for candidates and trainees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

* Oversees the Flight Time Initiative program and assists candidates with the process, sends required documents, arranges payments with flight schools, and works with recruiters to make sure candidates have required time before start of class.

* Assists with Pilot Talent Acquisition Team (PTAT) events and arranges pilots for recruitment events and interviews; manages monthly pay for PTAT events and interviews; monitors PTAT inbox; and schedules yearly training for PTAT members.

* Sends out surveys to all interview candidates and provides feedback to recruitment teams.

* Assists recruiters in setting recruitment calendar and in making necessary arrangements based on the staffing needs of the Company.

* Manages pilot referrals and inputs into ATS to ensure referral bonuses are received; answers any questions regarding referrals. Creates reports for payment of signing bonuses and pilot referral bonuses.

* Utilizes applicant tracking system (ATS) to input travel arrangements sent by travel department for interview and training travel; utilizes ATS for referrals.

* Communicates with incoming trainees regarding travel needs, ensures they are fully prepared for when they arrive to class. Monitors completion of required online Background forms, prepares class offer letters.

* Trains new associates on company operations and information. Assists with uploading new hire information in HRIS system.

* Supports talent acquisition team in shipping event materials, hotels, and any info needed.

* Assists with interview process wherever needed, including attending recruitment.

* Understands and applies talent acquisition processes in full compliance with all EEO legislation, the Americans with Disability Act, other government compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards.

* Maintains necessary files related to applications, interviews and testing procedures.

* Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes, including the development and maintenance of operational procedures.

* Performs other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong verbal, oral, and computer skills.

* Proactive with a sense of urgency; deadline driven and able to manage changing priorities

* Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* 2 to 3 years related experience.

* Previous airline experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

DECISION MAKING

Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.
