What does this role look like?
Join the team that is responsible for the Assembly, Test, and Launch of a major satellite systems.
• Assist certified test conductors of system and subsystem mechanical and electrical testing, assembly, and transport operations.
• Work closely with technical specialists and test support staff to meet the needs of the programs.
• Responsible for electrical and environmental stress testing of subsystems at the box and board levels.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated test equipment; develop and review test procedures; work with mechanical and electrical ground support equipment; preparing and executing Technical Interchange Meetings and pre-test meetings.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Materials or Computer Sciences/Software Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Exposure to electrical or mechanical test engineering and test support.
• Familiarity with, or a willingness to learn, electrical and/or mechanical test equipment (such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, force and linear measurement, and data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with, or a willingness to learn, automated test equipment and the Windows workstation environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and adaptable to multiple communication styles and needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
