Job Summary

*

Co-op performs aircraft-level integrated flight deck avionics systems engineering tasks as a member of a multidisciplinary project team.

*

Determines system requirements; allocates requirements to subsystems and functions; develops system design documentation, test requirements and procedures; conducts system level testing in laboratory and aircraft ground and flight environments.

Basic Qualifications

*

Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

*

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

*

Desirable to have knowledge of avionic systems architectures and functions, systems engineering principles and electronic systems testing procedures.

*

Desirable to have aviation-related experience, excellent technical writing and public speaking skills, and latest systems engineering design and documentation software tools, eg, DOORS, JAMA, JIRA.
