Sr. Systems Engineer - Multi-Disciplined 4

Senior system engineer that can demonstrate experience and proficiency in one or more applicable application areas, e.g., SW Systems Integration, SIGINT, ELINT, RF and Antenna Design, Signal Processing, Mission Systems, Special Signals, etc.
You will demonstrate success by:

Lead Significant Technology Development Projects involving multiple disciplines and 5 or more additional engineers
*
Work with functional teams and management to ensure TD projects are successful and transition to operational status at the earliest practical opportunity
*
Coordinate with engineers in a team environment to develop and implement new technology, including hardware, software, firmware, and systems/architecture.
*
Support transition of research and development concepts to operational systems.
*
Present results and new ideas in front of internal audiences and customers.
*
Write test reports, white papers, and proposals in a team environment.
*
Serve as a subject matter expert in your field of expertise and lend that expertise when required.
*
Be cognizant of related technology capabilities of other divisions that complement Mission Integration opportunities and programs

Qualifications
Qualifications:
*
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (EE, ME, CS, Physics), advanced technical degree preferred
*
This position requires an ACTIVE Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI, which requires US Citizenship.
*
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Development and/or Systems Engineering role(s)
*
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in one or more applicable application areas, e.g., SW Systems Integration, SIGINT, ELINT, RF and Antenna Design, Signal Processing, Mission Systems, Special Signals, etc. complemented with a generally diverse technical background and confidence to challenge accepted norms
*
Demonstrated successful experience contacting potential customers to develop new research and development programs.
*
Strong interpersonal and communication/presentation skills
*
Project, Program or Functional Management experience
*
Willing and able to go on test flights
