SYD Pit Crew Hoban To Virgin Australia Conversions

The Ground Crew Management team in Sydney are accepting expressions of interest from current Pit Crew Contractors to become permanent part time Pit Crew Operators.

Virgin Australia Pit Crew team members participate in the daily ramp and bag room operations at our domestic airports. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 22 hours per week with the opportunity to work extra hours and overtime.

YOUR TYPICAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

* Loading and unloading barrows / containers

* Loading and unloading baggage

* Delivering bags to arrivals carousels and oversize area

* Operate and check Ground Service Equipment (GSE)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

* Have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency

* Hold a current unrestricted Australian drivers licence

* Have the ability to work a rotating shift roster

You will be dependable and flexible to work in our unique environment, as our airports are open 365 days of the year you can expect to work shift work, on weekends and public holidays with early starts and late finishes.
