Supply Chain Sr Consultant
Job description
SAFRAN Consulting is an affiliate of SAFRAN and provides internal consulting services in process improvement, change and project management to SAFRAN and its Suppliers. This structure is approximatively 30 people based in France, US and Mexico with a wide range of application in the worldwide footprint of SAFRAN.
Being part of SAFRAN Consulting is an exciting experience to share your expertise in the Aviation and Defense fields, develop new skills and discover the group while in contact with the key decision maker at SAFRAN in North America. It is an open door to other challenging positions in the Group or an expertise path as an internal consultant.
As a Senior Consultant for SAFRAN Consulting, you will be responsible for multiple projects in term of quality, cost, deadlines agreed between the customer and SAFRAN Consulting.
* - In charge of developing and submitting proposals to the customer
* - Organize the project led by the consultant(s) and control the quality of the work done related to cost and deadlines (progress, financial follow up, contractors management)
* - to ensure Safran standards and methodologies are implemented during SAFRAN Consulting projects
* - to implement continuous improvement of the SAFRAN Consulting processes
* - to update Safran standards and SAFRAN Consulting methodologies
* - Measure customer satisfaction, at least every 3 month and at the end of the project
* - Identify the potential needs to develop consultants skills (training, specific support for a senior consultant…) and share these needs with the Team Manager
Job requirements
* • Prior experience with Zodiac or Safran preferred
* • Experience in Aerospace, Master Black Belt preferred, Production, and Change Management fields preferred
* • Experience in Supply Chain/ Manufacturing
* • Ability to foster open communication within the zone with company leaders as well as Senior and Executive Level employees
* • Knowledge of Lean-Sigma deployment
* • Strong sense of customer service
* • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* • Possess Global & Cultural Awareness
* • Demonstrate and lead with a positive attitude and a customer service spirit
* • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* • Demonstrate initiative and ownership of projects
* • Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail
* • Self-motivated and proactive
* • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* • Ability to influence and guide leadership and employees
* • Fluent In French and/or Spanish preferred
* • Certified Production and Inventory Management, CPIM (APICS)
* • Certified Supply Chain Professional, CSCP (APICS) preferred
Education:
Minimum: BS/BA in Business/Engineering or equivalent
Preferred: MS in Business/ Engineering, MBA or equivalent degree

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
* - responsible for the methodology related to SAFRAN Consulting proposals
* - Stay proactive to ever changing developments (new skills to develop; evolutions to propose to answer to the customer needs and the business challenges)
* - Organize regular follow up to share the evolutions with the Consultant Team
* - Alert the Team Manager in case of difficulties encountered during project execution
* - At the end, evaluate the overall project with the consultant(s) in order to measure performance of each consultant involved in the project. This evaluation will be forwarded to the Team Manager
* - Identify and implement improvements received from project evaluation(s)
