Stress Engineer

Excel currently has full time permanent positions available in an exciting new role as a stress engineer working in the UK.

Job Description

In general we are looking for engineers who are multi-faceted and competent in a range of skills including;

·         You will be expected to write/ design stress reports without supervision as well as the ability to identify and author stress analysis work packages.

·         Carry out general static stress analysis.

·         FE analysis

·         Fatigue analysis

·         Use ABAQUS and Catia as well as other recognised FEA and fatigue software tools

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of a B.Sc Degree in a relevant subject and working knowledge of the following;

·         FEA and fatigue software tools

·         Static hand calculations

·         Analysis and reporting

·         Test correlation experience

Additional Details

This is a full-time role working day shifts with a salary range of £25,000 and 35,000, DOE.
