Station Engineer – MAN

Ryanair and our Engineering partners are inviting applications for a Station Engineer to be based at Manchester Airport.

Station Engineer:

Working 5 on 5 off day shift with min. 1 block (5 nights) of night shift per month to oversee nightshift.

1 station engineer covers 2 stations at any one time. i.e. When Manchester station engineer is on he/she oversee other base(s).

Duties:

  • Day to Day running of the allocated bases.
  • Ensures AOG support in allocated bases during day time
  • Ensures AOG support during the weekends
  • Direct input to HIL ratio, daily and on weekends
  • Ensures capabilities of taking on Junior Aircraft Engineers Practical Training
  • Supports local recruitment of new staff
  • Ensuring all line station engineers in their area are maintaining the fleet to the standard specified within the approved instructions for Continued Airworthiness (AMM/SRM/FIM etc), Company Manuals/Procedures and in accordance with EASA Part 145 and Part M.
  • Responsibility for the outstation personnel with the Outstation Manager, Liaisons, AES Directors and Line Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Have proven Line Maintenance experience.
  • Management experience.
  • Proven Aviation experience.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AMOS Software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate others in reaching the highest level of service and quality.
  • Working knowledge of EASA part 145 and its application in the workplace.
