Job Summary

Works directly with the Program Management function to establish and execute the project plan regularly measuring progress against the plan. In this role you will lead the preparation, development, and coordination of segments of an integrated schedule to meet program and customer requirements with inputs from the engineering and operations teams. The Senior Integrated Program Scheduler will be capable of efficiently creating and maintaining a resource loaded schedule network that is the core of a schedule-driven Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation.

You will have the responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Schedule and all supporting project schedules. You will work closely with all functions of the program management team and production teams to update the schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as necessary. The scheduler will provide feedback to all internal stakeholders including critical path analysis, highlighting any schedule risks, and identifying and correcting any schedule logic deficiencies.

Job Responsibilities

*

Accountability as the lead scheduler for the organization, defining scheduling processes, procedures, tools, and methodologies to support programs

*

Gather source planning data, logical sequencing of activities, establishing activity durations and loading of resources in an Integrated Master Schedule Network for the purpose of providing status reporting and earned value analysis of work performed against the approved baseline plan.

*

Create and integrate program schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functions and product groups.

*

Perform baseline, networking, critical path and float analysis to develop and coordinate integrated schedules, EVM compliant resource plans and forecasts for internal and external customers.

*

Identifies and recommends solutions to network logic conflicts.

*

Provide program planning and scheduling support to internal and external customers

*

Assists in identifying and reporting schedule performance measurement techniques and associated cost measurement techniques.

*

Identifies and reports schedule performance variances and associated impacts to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

*

Performs scheduling impact analyses related to a change request and incorporates approved changes.

*

Ensures and monitors configuration management standards of integrated program schedule.

*

Implement tools to perform schedule analysis and reporting, including critical path analysis and assessment, schedule risk assessments, schedule health metrics analysis.

*

Perform analysis of program resources (time, headcount, facilities use, materials, etc.) to determine the earned value of work performed.

*

Develop Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that are in compliance and vertically traceable to SOW/SOO/WBS

*

Maintain cost and schedule integration using EVMS

*

Identify schedule risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation/capture plans

*

Provide detailed weekly/monthly schedule reports to PMs/CAMs

*

Create reports and metrics, analyze data, and summarize information for review with leadership and customers

Basic Qualifications

*

Experience as a Project Scheduler/Planner using Microsoft Project or equivalent

*

Experience working with schedule networks within an Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

*

Experience developing Integrated Master Plans and Schedules (IMP/IMS)

*

Experience using critical path methods for analyzing schedules networks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

*

Thrives in teaming environments, excellent organizational skills, creative at solving difficult problems, and strong communication and presentation skills.

*

Passion for serving customers and their needs

*

Experience leading program teams in project planning efforts, setting up program baselines, performing baseline changes, developing estimates to complete

*

Experience working with subcontractors for program schedule integration

*

Ability to support and train Cost Account Managers (CAMs) in the preparation and execution of EVM reviews

*

Familiarity with DI-MGMT-81650 and related knowledge of the DCMA 14 point schedule health assessment

*

Experience working in a development environments

*

Ability to travel on occasion
