Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the Mission Systems Quality organization. The role will be located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

This role is critical to Mission Systems Quality’s success. The position will perform complex administrative activities driven by both tactical and urgent, strategic and proactive efforts. The role will serve an organization that spans beyond (30) locations and (400) team members, but will primarily serve the Mission Systems Quality leadership team and team members residing within Cedar Rapids

Job Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to a large Quality professional staff and leaders. Typical tactical tasks will include time (calendar) management, travel coordination, expense report preparation and approval, meeting coordination, larger multi-site event coordination (e.g. All Hands, Skip Levels, Quality conferences), facilty/technology resolution, communications

* The ideal candidate will enjoy the ability to be creative, and serve as a central figure for frequent team-building activities

* Additional responsibilities could include on-boarding facilitation and space management

* The role will lead the preparation of all visitors: security, office space, agenda coordination, etc.

* A developed Administrative Assistant network will be critical to the candidate’s success, assuring collaboration on activities and knowledge

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required. Candidate must have:

* 5+ years as a Administrative Assistant or related field

* 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office and collaborative Google tools

* Experience supporting multiple leaders, large teams, and remote teams
