Job Summary

Collins Aerospace Avionics Concepts, Practices, and Tools (CPT) organization is seeking a Software Technician with a passion for problem solving and satisfying customers through the delivery of improvements to the global engineering ecosystem that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

*

Utilizing the support request system to receive, diagnose, and resolve issues for internal tool users

*

Managing the support request backlog

*

Coordinating support priorities with other team members to ensure timely resolution of issues

*

Engaging and teaming with other roles within the team to fully resolve complex issues

*

Performing releases of new versions of tools

*

Authoring and editing wiki articles to increase the value and accuracy of the tools knowledge base

*

Gathering and processing metrics, and performing other related duties as required

*

Delivering tool-related training and demonstrations to increase awareness and understanding within the user community

Basic Qualifications

*

Associates degree in appropriate discipline or three years of related experience.

*

Three years of experience with providing customer support

*

U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
