Responsibilities:

1. Setup and operate sheet metal fabricating and forming machines such as bulge former, sand blast, nibblers, press brakes, punch press, roll formers, shears, plasma cut, drills, etc.
2. Performs responsibilities incidental to the process.
3. Assemble, form fit, position, and align component parts in proper relation to each other where subassemblies require precise and difficult locating to include spot and tack welding as required.
4. Form production parts involving complex curvatures, sharp angles, and/or deep draws, which result in sever forming; to pre-heat and to hot form material as required.
5. Correct multi-plane distortion, shrinkage, and strain by straightening and fitting to close tolerances.
6. Layout trim lines, hole patterns, file contours, do hand forming, riveting, bolting, clamping, dimpling, and locating tack weld to build up subassemblies and assemblies.
7. Perform pressure testing on fabricated assemblies as required.
8. Trim parts with use of band-saw and belt sander.
9. Perform daily maintenance and minor machine repairs.
10. With minimum training, uses standard measuring devices to perform and document dimensional data as required.
11. Ensure proper safety procedure is followed within the team environment.
12. Maintains a clean work environment in full compliance with company standards, customer and government regulations.
13. Assists in the maintenance of a business culture which supports the Company’s overall business objectives and goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* High School diploma or GED certificate or equivalent in experience.
* Minimum two (2) years related experience.
* Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machines as listed under duties and responsibilities.
* Ability to follow and comprehend verbal and written instructions as well as present information in both verbal and written form.
* Must have basic mathematical skills to perform calculations in percent, decimals to apply concept and measurement in areas and volumes.

* Ability to learn basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY:
