Moog Inc. is a
worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision motion control
products and systems. Moog’s high-performance systems control military and
commercial aircraft, satellites and space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles,
industrial machinery, wind energy, marine applications, and medical equipment.

Moog’s Aircraft Group is looking for a Senior Program Manager to support its Military OEM Sector. Under the general direction of the Program
Director, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the overall
execution, coordination and performance of assigned programs. This includes ensuring that all quality,
delivery, and affordability objectives are met while maintaining a customer
focus and working to resolve issues and manage risk.

Here is what to expect on a day-to-day basis:

* Manage a portfolio of programs
including both Production and Development efforts.
* Act as the primary contact with
the customer and manage information flow between customer and Moog senior
management.
* Drive improvement across
program quality, delivery, and cost.
* Assure that the contractual
requirements are met through planning, monitoring and
expediting/escalating where necessary.
* As necessary, develop master
program schedule with cross-functional team; coordinate schedule plans and
changes with the customer.
* Lead proposal development and
execution for new business.

At a minimum, you will need to meet these qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in a
technical field, and a minimum of seven years of program related work
experience.
* Ability to organize people, the
ability to influence, and outstanding ability to communicate and
facilitate.
* Knowledge and experience with
formal project management, including use of project management tools and
Earned Value Management preferred.
* Must have excellent writing
skills for customer and Moog communications as well as proposal work.
