We are looking for a full-time Aviation Services Sales Manager for our FltPlan office in Southbury, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of aviation flight operations services to the business and air transport aviation markets, requiring technical and operational product knowledge sufficient to make judgments involving complex flight operations to persuade potential customers to buy Garmin products. Other essential functions include:

* Directly interface with customers, by way of inter-territory travel, product presentations, email and phone correspondence, and other means of communication
* Identify, solicit, and cultivate sales and up-sell opportunities with end customers, fleet operators, and governmental agencies and be accountable for achieving established sales revenue and quantity growth goals
* Lead development of well-organized and informative Garmin product presentations, seminars, business proposals, and webinars. Plan, develop, and execute presentation at trade shows, sales meetings, and customer events
* Assist in collecting, compiling and presenting competitive intelligence internally
* Survey product markets to determine product potential or needs for new products and assist in the implementation of new product offerings in the assigned region
* Aid in preparation of annual and monthly forecasts of inventory requirements and sales revenues

Qualifications

Desirable qualifications include:

* Sales experience in the aviation or electronics industry
* Operational experience in at corporate or air transport flight department
* Demonstrates operational knowledge of Garmin products
* Demonstrates a general understanding of the avionics competitive landscape, products and systems
* Avionics sales experience
* More than 500 hours PIC
* Multi-Engine Rating and/or Certified Flight Instructor Rating
