Description

Based in New York Airport, New Jersey, you will be responsible for guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety and security systems. You will also identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect site or business operations.

In your role you will:

- Work with project engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of existing, new, and modified equipment;
- Be responsible for adhering to the life cycle asset management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of assets;
- Participate in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans;
- Participate in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical OEM suppliers and technical maintenance service providers;
- Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria;
- Participate in the final check-out of new designs;
- Assist the Maintenance Manager to professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor and refine a maintenance plan;
- Provide input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact site operations;
- Assist in developing engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect site operations;
- Provide technical support to maintenance and technical personnel;
- Apply value analysis to repair and replace, repair and design and make and buy decisions;
- Be responsible for monthly mean time between system affecting failures (MTBSAF) and mean distance between system affecting failure (MDBSAF) reports.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
- You have three (3) years of experience in a related field;
- You have minimum five (5) years of experience in maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering or operations experience;
- You own strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude;
- You own strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection, as well as the software associated with them;
- You have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
