Recruitment & Resourcing Co-ordinator [Pilot and Cabin Crew]:

 

Base: East Midlands or Bristol Airport [with travel around the business network]

Salary: Dependent on experience, plus a performance related bonus.

 

Working closely with Heads of HR, you will provide a first-class recruitment and resourcing service for two group airlines, to attract the best talent for Pilots and Cabin Crew to join us and fly our customers across our UK and European network.

 

This is a very exciting new role, dedicated to delivering outstanding recruitment for two airlines by providing excellent and seamless co-ordination through all the stages of the Pilot and Cabin Crew recruitment and selection processes.

 

The successful candidate will be dynamic thinking and ideally an experienced aviation recruiter who is comfortable meeting KPI’s & achieving results.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

- Oversee all Pilot and Cabin Crew selection and assessment processes, promoting best practice and compliance with all relevant employment legislation.

- Use a wide range of methods to promote brand awareness including direct sourcing via job boards, social media and building networks with external partners, to source and attract the very best diverse/high calibre talent/ applicants-candidates.

- Organise and be actively involved in large-scale recruitment and selection events in the UK and internationally.

- Maintain professional and friendly communications with applicants and candidates throughout each stage of the process.

- Co-ordinate annual and quarterly recruitment plans with business unit leaders, to support the airline training programmes.
- Monitor and review progress against the recruitment plan with the Heads of HR and business unit leaders.
- Develop recruitment campaign plans to ensure creative and timely promotion of employment opportunities in the business to fulfil current and future requirements. 

- Maintain, review and develop job profiles, interview frameworks, selection and testing criteria associated with specific roles to embrace industry led changes.
- Initiate regular service reviews, proactively seek to improve services in light of management information and other performance data [including service user reviews and stakeholder feedback]. Implement action plans to address any areas for improvement and ensure robust monitoring.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced recruiter, ideally from a fast-paced and commercially focused business; possess exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills. A proactive and self-motivated professional, with the ability to work seamlessly with HR colleagues and easily build relationships at all levels.

- Experience of working within a HR/confidential environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines and to changing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator.
- Competent user of Word Processing, Spreadsheets & E-mail software (MS Office)
- Recognised HR, recruitment or business administration qualifications would be an advantage. [e.g. Associate Member of CIPD or Higher]
