Position Description:

This position provides administrative and clerical support. In addition to typing, filing, scheduling, and switchboard coverage. Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize workload.

Sorts and distributes mail.

Answers phones and takes messages.

Act as liaison with other departments and
outside vendors/customers.

Handles confidential information.

Works independently and within a team on special projects.

Able to create general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc.

Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma required along with a minimum of 3 years clerical experience.

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Physical Requirements
Position requires walking, bending, reaching, standing, prolonged periods of sitting, lifting (up to 25 pounds) and keyboarding.
