JOB FUNCTION:

Executes the assigned duties as necessary at the MR Crib.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

General MR Crib Activities

Review and process product for MR related internal requirements and customer returns.

1. Perform transactions in AQCS Lot Control as required for MR activity including scrap, re-instate, move to "C", etc.
2. Record serial numbers as required to manage the activity within the MR Crib area.
3. Use a cold saw as required to cut hard tack tips or other requirements.
4. Use a hand grinder as required to notch product prior to scrap.
5. Interface with multiple departments related to the management of scrap issues.
6. Manage activities related to collection of scrap sales product

Customer Returns Processing

Receive, review, disposition and scrap or reinstate as necessary all customer returns.

1. Receive, count and log serial numbers for customer returns
2. Interpret customer return documentation for correctness, as well as customer perceived return reasons in order to facilitate the concurrence or rebuttal of the customer returned product.
3. Evaluate customer return product applying knowledge of inspection criteria and customer specifications.
4. Coordinate any required NDT evaluation of customer return product to be performed by NDT personnel.
5. Perform AQCS transactions as required for customer return receipt, disposition and reinstate inventory.
6. Interface with multiple departments related to accountability of customer returns reporting.
7. Interface with PCC finishing in both Douglas and PCC Merida as required related to customer returns

EDUCATION:

High school education required.

EXPERIENCE:

Certified for Final Visual inspection, with knowledge of customer specifications to facilitate the proper disposition of internal MR and customer returned product.

Must have working knowledge of the following:

* Casting defects and their associated causes.
* Alloy types and codes.
* Basic knowledge of acceptance and rejection criteria related to cast parts.
* General computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Excel
* AQCS (lot control) system usage.

SUPERVISION: None required

The above covers the most significant duties, but does not exclude other assignments requiring equivalent or lesser skills.
