Quality Inspectors

STS Technical Services is hiring Quality Inspectors in Dallas, Texas.

Position Title: Quality Inspector II

Location: Dallas TX 75243 (Richardson Area)

Duration of contract: Long Term

Shift: Day shift 12 hours 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Wednesday – Thursday – Friday – Saturday

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Responsible for performing mechanical, optical, and electrical Quality Inspection of Electro-Optical Infrared Sensors components and assemblies.

* Responsible for supporting program or project quality system processes and supporting product quality improvements.

* Will perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies to support in-process and final quality control inspections.

* Perform in process and final quality control inspections of our client’s products

* Perform visual inspections of optics, mechanical components, and electronic assemblies

* Comply with written instructions to perform inspection and detect non-conforming materials

* Assist Quality Engineering in developing Inspection Instructions

* Document non-conforming materials using electronic forms

* Perform acceptance and rejection transactions in Deltek, CostPoint

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications You’ll Need:

* High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years’ experience performing quality inspections

* Experience performing visual inspections using a microscope

* Able to inspect electronic assemblies per ANSI/J-STD-001, class 3

* Ability to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings to determine the requirements for inspection

Skills We’d Love For You To Have:

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
