Responsibilities
The Quality Control Analyst position is involved in a wide range of Technical Operations Department opportunities that are primarily centralized around the development and analysis of key processes related to the safety and compliance of aircraft maintenance. Individuals in this role are expected to work one or more projects and handle a variety of responsibilities including data collection, data entry, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:
* Manage the data collection, analysis, and reporting of Department programs such as:
* In-Process Audit (IPA)
* Required Inspection Items (RII) program
* Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
* Receiving of Materials and Tools
* Daily Aircraft Surveillance (DAS)/Airframe Essential Maintenance Providers (AEMP) surveillance
* Semi-Annual Self-Audit (SASA)
* Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) inputs
* Deferred Maintenance Item (DMI) Review
* Support the development and maintenance of Departmental Scorecards and Dashboards
* Manage the data collection, analysis, and reporting of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly Departmental reporting
* Edit, write, update and publish job aids for all Department Members and maintain a Job Manual for routine duties of this position
* Support various data collection and entry needs of the Department
* Participate in technology and process improvement projects in a variety of roles depending on the needs of the project
* Support the Department’s Performance Team Supervisor and Manager in their duties as assigned

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
EDUCATION:
* 4 year College degree in one of the following is required: Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Science, Operational Research, Supply Chain or Aviation related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
WORK EXPERIENCE:
* 2 or more years of analyst experience required
* Experience in the Aviation Industry preferred
* Lean Six Sigma certificate preferred
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:
* FAA Airframe & Powerplant or Pilot license preferred
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
* Must be able to work around and on aircraft in maintenance or in service
SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
* Be proficient with at least one high-level language (C, C++, Java) and at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, JavaScript)
* Have working knowledge with reporting using Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Teradata SQL Assistant, or equivalent
* Have working knowledge in the Microsoft environment, especially developing and maintaining VBA in Excel and Access
* Have working knowledge developing and delivering enterprise applications in a PaaS system like Salesforce or Quick Base
* Possess working knowledge of using Business Intelligence reporting tools (Business Objects/InfoView, Crystal Reports, JasperReports)
* Have experience using visualization tools like Tableau, D3.org, and/or Google Visualization
* Have basic understanding of hardware architectures, network systems, and ETL processes as related to data storage
* Be highly skilled in data analysis and have a strong understanding of data structures and data mining
* Have some experience in quality improvement processes such as Lean Tools, TQM or Six Sigma
* Problem solving ability and strong written/verbal communications skills
* Ability to stay organized and manage multiple and concurrent assignments
* Demonstrated ability to learn quickly,
* Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and comfortable operating in the unknown
* Ability to lead and mentor others on Team
* Works well in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, courteous and compassionate.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be able to travel on occasion for work and Team events
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
