Quality Auditor

FPS Aviation currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join a prestigious client rotary client in the South Of England. 

The position offers an excellent basic salary with additional benefits.

 

Overall Purpose of role 

•Support the Quality Manager in implement the Company Quality Management System (QMS). •Support the Quality Manager in implement Quality and Safety improvement projects. •Auditing Company Approvals including EASA Parts 145, 21, 147 Part M, BCAR, MRP 145 also ISO 9001 series and ISO 14001. •Conducting Line Station and Vendor Audits •Conducting Process and Product Audits •Hosting Regulatory (CAA, MAA), Approval body (BSi) and Customer auditors.

Other duties include:

•Writing/amending Procedures. •Amending Expositions/Quality Manuals. •Inputting to Quality Department Databases. •New Vendor approvals. •Management of Company document library on MS SharePoint. •Other QMS duties as directed by the Quality Manager
Requirements 

•Min 3 years in Aerospace Quality Department environment with auditing experience.  •Understanding of Quality Systems in an Aviation environment as related to Legislative, Regulatory and Competent Authority requirements. •Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean Six-Sigma, visual management, kaizan etc.) •Experience of Change Management techniques •Good communication skills. •Experienced in the use of MS Office applications.
