Job Description
PCC Airfoils, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corp. The Airfoils Division manufactures complex highly technical investment castings for turbine engine applications used in commercial jet engines, military jet engines, helicopters and industrial gas turbines.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate machines including but not limited to the blast machine, hand grinder, snag grinder, surface grinder, and cut-off saw.
• Operate pre-heat furnace to correct temperatures as called out on general procedures/QEI. Load and unload pre-heat furnace with correct molds.
• Pre-invest molds into correct size Inconel cans load them into the pre-heat furnace.
• Operate Equiax furnace to cover vacations and absences as needed.

• Work to reduce process variability as related to scrap and repair, and reduce manufacturing costs through continuous improvement as an integral member of our manufacturing team.
• Will be required to work daily and weekend overtime to accommodate the production schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferably in an investment casting foundry.
