Project Manager Aviation

PROJECT MANAGER (Aviation)- LONDON - 3 MONTH CONTRACT

Shorterm Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 3 month contract.

Suitable candidates must have the following experience:

Previous experience in Project Management
Previous experience with Business Jet Aircraft
A wealth of experience in aircraft heavy /line maintenance including in a lead role
Have a EASA Part 66 License
Have basic knowledge of EASA Regulations, Part 145.
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs for Business Jet Aircraft.
Good interpersonal skills to develop and maintain working relationships with employees, customers and all levels of management
Ability to build a strong connection with customers, defuse crisis situations with internal and external customers.

The role:

Work closely with the Operations Manager
Oversea all maintenance work packages assigned to aircraft
Primary point of contact for customers, communicating, coordinating time/labour/materials quotes.
Invoices, progress updates and debrief on any warranty issues.
Monitor workflow ensuring work package is on time, schedule and within budget
Take responsibility for assigned staff and technicians on shift and supervise certifying staff.
Ensure quality standards are met
Hold status meetings with all project staff working on projects, update daily reports of aircraft and report to Operations Manager in daily meetings.
Work with Planning/certifying staff and project teams to coordinate special programs
Produce maintenance reports
Review final customer invoices.
