Job Role:
Project Manager will provide dedicated customer technical support to the Army’s Lower Tier Project Office, PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment Product Office. Direct and supervise a cross-functional team of analysts throughout the development, execution, production and fielding of modernization upgrades for the United States and Foreign Military Sales partners regarding the PATRIOT Air and Missile Defense System. Coordinate with Systems Engineering support and synchronize integrated support to meet/exceed customer requirements. Candidate will oversee core technical support across PATRIOT launcher, radar, and mission command subsystems. Applies technical expertise and analyzes information/data to synthesize solutions. Candidate will provide materiel acquisition support, technical analysis, and other experience relating to Department of Defense (DoD) and industry initiatives relating to PATRIOT equities. Project Manager will provide direct input in solving issues involving diverse staffs, multiple stakeholders, and resources. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate and interact with the government customer on a routine basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of personnel actions to include hiring and evaluations.
Qualifications
Applicants should be goal oriented and experienced in effectively meeting acquisition program milestones while providing solutions to a range of complex technical problems. Knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000.02 and Army Regulation 670-1 is critical. Applicants must possess critical thinking skills to address acquisition mandates and warfighter requirements. Experience with the Lower Tier Project Office and/or missile defense systems, processes, and procedures is highly desired.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Excellent knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office is required.
B.S. Degree in Science or Engineering field with 18+ years of experience is required.
An active secret security clearance is required.
