Project Manager

 

1.      JOB PURPOSE

 

Project Manager is required for Relocation & Installation of Gas Turbine Generator project in UAE.

 

 

2.      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

(Indicate the minimum recruitment specification and also the ideal person specification for fully satisfactory job performance)

 

 

Qualification &Experience

Degree holder in Mechanical discipline with at least 15 years of relevant experience in Relocation, Installation and maintenance of Gas Turbines and other power generation and associated Auxiliary equipment At least 10 years of similar experience with in GCC. Very good knowledge of Installation of power generation equipment   Should worked as Project Site Manager with similar background experience

3.             JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND CURRENT OBJECTIVES

(Explain in not more than six to eight points the principal accountabilities that the job must achieve, an d for each accountability explain what is done, and show the objective end result for the current financial year)

 

 

• Supervise all site activities to ensure safe delivery of the project both in Yemen and the UAE
• Ensure the project is completed safely within the time in adherence to quality as per contracts (client &sub-contractor)

 

• Ensure company and sub-contractor are compliant with all the contractual obligations of the customer.

 

• Coordination with End-user, Sub-contractors and management and customer consultant
• Responsible for preparation and submission of comprehensive report to the company on regular basis

 

• Ensure all site activities with site Key personnel and report the daily progress
• Ensure all site work is complaint with all the company’s quality and HSE processes and procedures.
• Management of all commercial matters between company, customer, customer consultant and subcontractor
• Work closely with local authorities to facilitate site requirements such site passes electricity, water sanitary facilities…etc both in the UAE site and Yemen site.
• Ensure all invoices are issued at the right time and manage cash flow of the project.
