Job Role:
The incumbent ensures that the programs produced fully satisfy the specifications. He will support, generate and set up quality programs that fill business needs.
Responsibilities
* Propose, conceive and validate solutions to the problems or needs of users and develop an action plan;
* Evaluate the time required for each phase of development of the solution;
* Write up documentation;
* Program modules, screens, reports and processing with the prescribed development tools;
* Plan, document and realize unitary trials of the modules and participate to the integrated trials of the application;
* Prepare implementation files;
* Support users in the realisation of acceptance files;
* Ensure the support and the maintenance of the applications that are developed, and ensure the rotation of the 24/7 emergency support if necessary.
Requirements
* College diploma in computer science or in a related field;
* Minimum of three (3) to six (6) years’ experience in computer science and a minimum of 2 years in developing BI solutions;
* Background in application development + Proficiency with Microsoft BI package (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS);
* Knowledge of VisualStudio, C# , SQL;
* Good knowledge of TFS;
* Interest and ability to solve complex problems;
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment ;
* Bilinguism (English, French) both oral and written, essential;
* Good understanding of big businesses technological environments (telecom, storage, virtualization, etc.).
