Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) is an exciting and growing business servicing the commercial aviation aftermarket by providing reconditioned products at competitive prices, short lead times, and exceptional quality. The business buys and sells used products on the open market, purchases airframes and dismantles them for sellable products, and markets excess and surplus Honeywell material.

You will provide leadership for a team of business managers who set the product strategy and are responsible for business performance of the HAT products and services. These responsibilities include strategy, AOP planning, pricing, product leadership, and execution of the business. You will also be leading a group of highly skilled systems managers providing database support, business decision systems and data analytics.

You will be accountable for providing critical inputs to the strategic plan and the annual operating plan. You will also be accountable for revenue growth, margin expansion, inventory management, and time to market commitments. This role is accountable to profit and loss at the product level. This role is also responsible for developing the product and services offerings deploying them.

You will report to the Vice President / General Manager of the HAT business. You will be performing the following activities:

* Leading and developing a team of product experts to grow the business globally
* Leading and developing a team of business systems experts to support and improve our business
* Support and maintain market pricing to maximize profit on used part sales
* Establish management operating system to ensure inventory and pricing metrics are aligned to our goals
* Lead the team in evaluating and acquiring aircraft airframes for dismantlement as a source of used material
* Provide technical support to the HAT team for purchases and sales
* Provide strategic direction and tactical insights to improve team productivity and efficiency and maximize sales for the product lines over the STRAP period
* Review market and product dynamics to ensure HAT is one step ahead of the market
* Support global sales and procurement strategies to achieve the expected growth required
* Responsible for establishing growth product lines and managing products across the STRAP forecast period
* Mentor, coach and develop team and recruit & retain top talent for future positions

This position is part of the HAT leadership team with global responsibilities.

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelors’ Degree

* Significant leadership experience
* Strategic leadership

* Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast moving environment
* Effectively work in a matrixed organization structure.
* Ensure customer satisfaction
* Breadth of experience across services, products and customers to identify growth opportunities
* Knowledge of the regulatory and quality requirements for industry and customers.
* Demonstrated influencing skills across functions in a matrixed organization
* MBA preferred
* Strong business skills including analytical abilities
* Process improvement experience
* Six sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt or lean manufacturing)
