Production Technician

Position Description:

This position is to help build and assemble SMARTruck fuel delivery data capture systems and support the production team with other activities such as inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

• Build SMARTruck systems to meet needs of business
• Assemble kits and harnesses
• Create system configurations in ICM that are used for picking
• Monitor and requisition assembly hardware as necessary
• Integrate product changes or improvements into the BOM and test as necessary
• Troubleshoot systems as needed
• Participate in physical inventory counts
• Provide back-up support to other team members as necessary
• Participate in housekeeping activities
• Assist in system installations as needed (some travel possible once experience level established)

Position Requirements:

To be considered for an interview, the successful candidate will have skills in wiring, making wiring connections, basic electrical understanding and assembly skills.
• Skills with small power tools such as drills, grinders, voltage meters and the like will benefit the candidate greatly
• MS Office computer skills with some basic excel skills
• Attributes for success
o Strong work ethic, self-starter who informs manager when there’s capacity
o Good communicator, candid
o Attention to detail
o Process orientation
