Job Overview: We are hiring for a Repair Technician I to perform repair and overhaul (preventative) maintenance on our product line. This position is located in our Miramar, FL MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility. As a technician you will be responsible for performing varied and moderately complex tasks following standard work and CMM instructions. Must be able to assemble, disassemble, inspect, and final prep various components within the designated cell under moderate to minimal supervision.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Required to actively participate in the company’s continuous improvement and environmental, health and safety activities and initiatives.
* Understand and deliver on individual and departmental established performance goals. Work closely with supervisors and other support personnel to resolve problems. Required to enter and retrieve information from our operating (SAP) system to perform daily activities
* Demonstrate safe work habits and maintaining neat and orderly work area
* Follow specific instructions and use all required equipment to perform assigned work according to FAA and company regulations •Interface with customers (government personnel or auditors) as necessary
* Inspect and disposition components and modules.
* Rework/ repair, scrap, and replace/order components, modules, and LRU’S as required Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all types of manufactured electronic accessory components as required including
* Testing, check clearances, tolerances, and alignment, making necessary replacements and adjustments to assure conformance to specified configurations
* Record data to accept or reject criteria to approved maintenance data
* Identify proper parts with part number and serialization
* Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance testing, and dielectric testing of elector mechanical devices
* Independently follow through on job assignments, resolving questions and problems.

Other:

* Support and participate on the site’s EH&S, Quality, and HR Employee Engagement initiatives and programs.
* Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
* Must be able to cope with stress and perform repetitive tasks
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
* Must be able to work extra hours, including weekends as business needs require.

* 1+ years electrical mechanical component experience
