Job Summary

This role in the HR Business Partner organization is focused on the strategic alignment of the business, employee engagement, leadership coaching, selecting and developing talent, change management execution and acting as a steward for the Collins Aerospace culture. It will serve to primarily support leaders by understanding and articulating business needs and translating them into HR strategies and tactics. The position will play a major role in managing the implementation of major HR initiatives and annual processes across all organizations in Wilsonville, OR including salary planning, organizational restructuring, talent management and succession planning. The individual will partner closely with leadership to consult/advise on HR matters and to orchestrate HR services as needed within the business environment.

Job Responsibilities

*

HR professional on site giving day to day direction to matrixed team members.

*

Responsible for partnering with leadership on proactive site health including, succession planning and workforce planning efforts for the organization.

*

Manages the effective implementation analysis of salary planning, talent management programs, and diversity initiatives for the organization.

*

Provides facilitation and change management consultation to leadership teams.

*

Coordinates the restructuring efforts of the organization and will be required to consult on organization design, job level and title changes with appropriate SME’s in HR.

*

Advises and communicates business & HR strategies to HR Representatives on an on-going basis.

*

Will serve on a variety of Integrated Talent Management teams representing the voice of the customer.

*

Supports SFP/AOP with data and analysis for the Sr. Business Partner

*

Daily work may be a blend of tactical vs. strategic work in support of the business.

*

Keep current with regulations/laws unique to this location.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline, Master’s degree preferred.

*

Proven experience in a leadership role with HR duties and issues performed.

*

Previous employee and leadership coaching experience is required.

*

Previous experience with coordinating staff needs is required.

*

Previous experience with employee relations matters is required.

*

Ideally candidate will have had experience working outside of a headquarters location

*

Knowledge with Collins Aerospace processes and procedures, preferred.

*
