As a Principal Advisor Communication and Public Relations, you will lead the harmonized execution of an integrated Bombardier Transportation Communications and Marketing strategy to support bid capture, image and reputation building across the country, develop and nurture media relationships and other networks to increase visibility of Bombardier Transportation and its distinctive strengths.

Your responsabilities will include:

- Act as the primary Bombardier Transportation spokesperson in Canada;
- Support Canadian business development and sales key account managers through the development and management of visibility programs in their key markets;
- Develop and execute external communications plan in Canada (event management, strategic sponsorships, advertising, trade shows);
- Provide content and prepare information documents related to the transit industry;
- Respond to requests from functions for assistance in core message development, communications planning, speeches and presentations;
- Be responsible for strategic internal communications in Canada.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field;
- Ten (10) years of significant and relevant experience;
- Expertise in leading business communication strategies to influence opinion and awareness;
- Proven track-record as a spokesperson in proactive and position media relations management;
- Demonstrated experience in managing government relations (considered as an asset);
- Exertise in writing and editing speeches, press releases, brochures in print and online;
- Strong proficiency in the use of social media for promotion, brand building and reputation management;
- Ability to develop strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and social medias;
- Excellent English and French communication skills, both written and spoken.
