Summary:
The Pricing and Revenue Manager, reporting to the Head of department, will be a key driver of revenue for countries in his/her portfolio, managing €300-500m in annual revenue across the Wizz network. He/she will be responsible for the tactical pricing decisions optimizing route performance. He/she will also develop strategic market/competitor insights using the latest industry tools, contributing to the growth of one of Europe’s best performing and fastest growing airlines. In addition to managing the daily strategies, he/she will also be responsible for coordinating with key stakeholders across departments to maximize revenue opportunities. He/she will also have direct and frequent exposure to top management by being an integral part of the commercial teams’ decision making process.
Responsibilities include:
* Becoming a valuable team player as part of a dynamic team in a critical business function
* Developing pricing structure and inventory management strategy directly influencing bottom line
* Monitoring competitive landscape and designing appropriate response strategy by analyzing market conditions and customer behavior patterns
* Using one of the most sophisticated decision support tools to impact daily pricing actions
* Managing route-level and network-level revenue and capacity forecasting
* Formulating and executing recommendations on capacity allocation to enhance profitability
* Communicating and aligning on tactical and strategic initiatives within and across business functions
* Cooperating with sales team to manage interest from tour operators and groups
* Liaising with other commercial departments (Marketing & PR, Sales, Ancillary Revenue, Network & Scheduling) to plan appropriate promotional and special event activities
Requirements:
* University degree in business, economics, engineering, sciences
* Strong business acumen with a drive to succeed and an ability to take controlled risks (“trader mindset”
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Proficient with data and analytical tools
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Strong team player
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Openness to live and work in Geneva, Switzerland (relevant permit can be obtained for successful applicants
