GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:

As part of our growing focus on the Hong Kong market, we have a newly created role for a Pricing & Product Advisor to join our Sales Team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager (Hong Kong & Macau), you will be responsible maximising revenue by determining pricing strategies through monitoring of interline activities and forecasting business trends. Once you have defined appropriate sales policies, fare products and promotional activities to suit the local market, you will work closely with our Pricing and Marketing teams in Australia for final approval.

This is a full-time, permanent position and will be based at our new office in North Point. Some ad-hoc travel may be required as part of this role. For further information, please review the Position Description.

GET TO KNOW YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Market intelligent analysis and forecasting on fares in the Hong Kong market.

* Reviewing our fare products and ensuring they fit the local market requirements and adapted quickly in response to local market changes.

* Exploring, introducing and modifying fare products in response to new potential business segments.

* Formulating fares and surcharges to maximise ancillary revenue.

* Developing and conducting product training programmes for our key agencies/accounts.

* Building and maintaining key relationships with travel agents, tourism boards, and our alliance/codeshare partners.

* Closely monitoring the effectiveness of sales strategies by conducting regular sales performance reviews.

LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU:

* Minimum 5 years airline or commercial travel agent experience, ideally in a pricing area.

* IATA ticketing certificate holder, with knowledge on ATPCO essential.

* Strong acumen of sales and marketing.

* Fluent bilingual English/Chinese language skills, verbal and written.

* Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite.

* Able to travel on an ad-hoc basis.

* Must have full rights to live and work in Hong Kong.
