In your role, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that will drive product and business process change and guide the organization to achieve improved communication for inter-site functional teams
- Oversee the entire communication channels, including change process from problem evaluation through to implementation; including development of business plans to ensure effective decision-making that support the program orientation.
- Lead and communicate to multi-function teams, be effective in communicating priorities and requirements and resolve conflicts to facilitate successful project implementation
- Interface directly with inter-site functional stakeholders and program partners as an OSW FAL Liaison & Program Office focal.
- Maintain measures and metrics important to managing our business and implement corrective action as necessary to achieve project deliverables.
- Participate in high-level meetings; make presentations to management, customers and program partners.
- Get involved in special assignments, Achieving Excellence and other unique projects.
- Support Production, Methods, Engineering, Quality and Suppliers in coordinating resolutions to aircraft issues.
- Asked to ensure the INTERCO (Belfast, St. Laurent, Queretaro and Dorval) teams’ deliverables meet the program requirements
- Enable the INTERCO teams at FAL by helping to identify and remove obstacles they are facing that could prevent them from meeting the program schedule.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You are a successful Program Manager,
- You have a University degree or similar designation and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
- You have the ability to work as part of a team or individually, efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- You are self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic,
- You possess excellent written and verbal communications and human relations skills.
- You demonstrate experience in taking leadership roles.
- You have the ability to work co-operatively across functional departments and you are a self-starter with the ability to analyze situations and make appropriate decisions.
- You have a working knowledge of the aircraft.
- You must have good computing skills and be proficient in MS Office.
- You are self-confident and ready to contribute to the ongoing improvements in our business.
