New Equipment Training Specialist - 1078792

Will provide training support for a U.S. Army program. Candidate will plan for and monitor instruction for various Army courses of instruction. Candidate will support the preparation of training development plans, outlines of instruction, training support packages, and the determination of training facility requirements. Candidate will support the development of Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, or Commercial Manuals as required. Will support fieldings, tests, and demonstrations. Candidate will review and provide recommendations on Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, Commercial Manuals and computer-based training platforms. Candidate will review training material used in hardware or software instruction to determine if training material is adequate or necessary to meet program objectives. Candidate will review and validate new, updated, changed, or revised training materials against all applicable Technical Manuals, Technical Bulletins, or Commercial Manuals associated with the equipment or software. Candidate will monitor and evaluate training that will be performed at various locations, including local contractor facilities and military installations at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Monitoring and evaluation of training in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) may occasionally be required. Candidate will provide Logistics support, including developing and maintaining fielding schedules, supporting fieldings, and developing transportation requirements for shipment and fielding of new equipment. Will prepare Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation to include New Equipment Training (NET) Plans, Materiel Fielding Plans/Agreements, System Supportability Strategies, and New Materiel Introductory Briefings.

Qualifications

Type of Experience Required:

Experience in Program of Instruction as an instructor or
training manager at a Training and Doctrine (TRADOC) Command school or
academy. Proven expertise on Air Defense
Artillery Systems in managing Training Program Structure Documents, POIs,
Instructor Guides, and Student Guides. Demonstrated skills and knowledge to
provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) input on training oversight and conduct
for management of New Equipment Training; training calendars; Training Support
packages; Course Critiques; and resolution of training conflicts in scheduling,
equipment, and facilities.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office products. Proficient in preparing and presenting
briefings to senior personnel. Frequent
travel (as much as 50% during some periods) may be required. May require
conducting work outdoors in various weather conditions, during periods of day
or night.

Type of Experience Preferred:

Experience and success in team building across multiple
functional groups while leading small-to-medium sized training projects is desirable.
