Job Description
CACI is seeking a Network Engineer to support the LIS program in Aberdeen, MD. The selected candidate will provide network administration, systems administration, and database administration support to maintain and operate the Software Engineering Centers (SEC) Software Engineering Environment as an enterprise enclave under the direct control of the SEC.
What You’ll Get to Do:
* Install, operate, and maintain all lab network equipment
* Facilitate connections to remote labs, including troubleshooting connectivity issues
* Maintain lab network and network Backbone (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
* Modify lab networking equipment to integrate with external facilities based on customer requirements
* Keep network documentation up to date
* Troubleshoot customer network support issues
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline, including a minimum of three (3) years of experience. Experience must be in supporting enclaves similar to that of the SEC environments.
* SECRET Security Clearance.
* Must have IAT Level III Certification i.e. CISSP or CASP.
* Interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
* Participates in the development of test strategies.
* Solves engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Network Administration, including CCNA certification
* Microsoft Server 2016, 2012R2, Windows 10
* Redhat or CentOS Linux
* Active Directory and Group Policy management.
* Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
* VMWare ESXi
* Citrix Netscaler Gateway and Storefront
* Apache Tomcat
* Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
* Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
* Microsoft SQL Server
