In order to maintain our exceptional reputation for reliability we need a dedicated Network Engineer who is responsible for the architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all enterprise networking infrastructure. Also included in this role are the monitoring and tuning of network bandwidth, redundancy and disaster recover planning and configuration. The Network Engineer will play an integral role in the success of the group. Specifically they will be responsible for the following:

* Plan and create company data networks as assigned by the Network Manager
* Assure a high degree of network availability through the use of solid and proven design methods, monitoring tools, and networking equipment
* Perform network equipment maintenance and upgrades as needed and assigned
* Provide network security for segments of the company network as assigned
* Test, configure, and monitor all company routers, firewalls and switches as assigned
* Work with airline partners and vendors for connectivity as needed
* Test, configure, and monitor VPN hardware and software
* Perform network safety measures such as vulnerability tests as assigned or deemed necessary
* Document and update, as needed company network (LAN/WAN) with Visio as assigned
* Provide after-hours support as needed
* Respond in a timely manner to notification events
* Some limited travel may be required, but with little notice
* Availability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation schedule
* On call 24/7

Minimum Requirements

* BA / BS Degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in an enterprise network environment, preferably Cisco
* Intermediate level understanding of Cisco IOS
* Intermediate level understanding of routing and switching
* Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time and complex tasks and projects in a high-pressure environment
* Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
* Able handle urgent interruptions professionally
* Sound analytical skills with the ability to successfully troubleshoot and problem solve with both internal and remote users

Preferred Experience:

* Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
* Experience with IPSec VPNs, installation and troubleshooting
Experience with F5 load balancers

* Configuration and maintenance of wireless networks
* Familiarity with various network management tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.
* CCNA certification
* Packet capture analysis

Physical and Other Requirements

* Ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently
