The Billing Specialist is responsible for general office administration functions, particularly those related to data entry into the operating software for billing, warranty administration, expense reporting and credit card reconciliation. This position works closely, on a daily basis with the Administrator Supervisors to assure that all billing, warranty and expense reporting needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Representation of Atlantic Aviation in a professional and positive manner by applying the principles of the “Atlantic Attitude” at all times.
• Must adhere to all safety standards established by the company and regulatory agencies and be in compliance to all Company policies and procedures.
• Communication of work progress and significant issues with the Vice President or local management as appropriate.
• Conduct general office duties and administrative support as directed by local and regional management. This includes coverage for breaks, lunches and special projects.
• Daily data entry of write-ups into Corridor, eventually preparing work orders for invoices.
• Enter and maintain all floor technician, AOG employee and additional maintenance base employee expense reporting, and enter payment details into corresponding billing system.
• Manage monthly corporate accounts. This includes appropriate account coding, and organization for corporate reporting, as well as proper expensing into corresponding billing system, where applicable.
• Complete all warranty filings for applicable aircraft under manufacturer’s program.
• Coordinate warranty part return information, and follow-up where required, with warranty administrators for resolution.
• Occasional travel to airport locations for delivery of financials and administrative projects.

Qualifications:

• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong time management skills to include ability to complete tasks accurately within established timelines.
• Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
• Proficiency in use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Work a flexible schedule to include minimal travel via automobile or airplane.
