L3 Technologies ESS Inc. (L3 ESS), a division of L3 Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) segment, is an internationally recognized supplier of integrated logistics and system support services providing OEM and third party MRO for a variety of avionics, cockpit displays and other systems. We provide integrated and performance based logistics support, logistics management, supply chain management and technical solutions for air, land and naval platforms for defense applications.

L3 ESS employs highly skilled and experienced personnel, including logisticians, engineers, technologists and technicians and we are now seeking a motivated individual for the Halifax team:

Military Material Disposal Coordinator

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

For the selected CP140 avionics items:

* Plan and coordinate disposal activities for CP140 avionics-related equipment;

* Liaise with Life Cycle Material Managers (LCMM) to determine disposal requirements;

* Liaise with DND/L3 Supply Managers to execute disposal activities;

* Liaise with other DND agencies involved in execution of disposal activities;

* Execute other specified disposal activities;

* Learn other LCMM duties as time allows;

* Carry out other duties as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* Avionics Technologist Diploma or equivalent military training and experience;

* Previous experience in performing aircraft avionics maintenance;

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software products;

* Ability to work collaboratively within a technical environment;

* Knowledge of CP140 avionics an asset;

* Knowledge of aircraft information management systems (DRMIS, ADAM) an asset;

* Experience with the Canadian Catalogue of Materials an asset;

* Must be able to obtain a Canadian Industrial Security Clearance to SECRET level as soon as possible.

All successful applicants must be eligible to meet requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Canadian government security clearance.

CAN Security Clearance Required: NATO Secret
