My client is a leading global aerospace organisation based in the Wilthsire area. They have a brand new requirement for a number of Mechanical Technicians to work on their rotary defence program. This is an initial 3 month contract position paying £22 per hour.

This is to work on their rotary modification program and Chinook experience is highly desirable. As a minimum you must have worked on defence rotary aircraft.

Main responsibilities of the role are:

• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic systems to isolate mechanical and repair faulty components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

The successful candidate will have a vast experience with rotary aircraft.
