Carbon60 have a new position available for a mechanical engineer to work in Dorset for a 3 month contract.
You will be working on maintenance and repair of aircraft structural assemblies including flight controls and cowlings. There may also be requirements for detailed manufacture.
Details of the contract are as follows;
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: Until 11th December
Hours: Approx. 42+ a week
Shift: Monday - Friday (Days)
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Rate: Limited hourly rate paid
Type of work: Work shop environment
To be able to apply for the position, the contractor must be able to provide the following;
· Up-to-date CV
· In date colour copy of passport/Right to work in the UK
· In date EWIS, Human factors and Fuel Tank Safety Certificates
· Qualification papers (Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship or Armed Forces equivalent)
The successful contractor will also need to provide a Scottish Disclosure and undergo baseline security clearance before commencement of the contract.
