Description
Responsible for creating and modifying hardware sub-assemblies, fixturing, and engineering drawings. In this capacity you will interface with various team members, engineers, scientists, senior designers and mechanical technicians to produce E/M drawings used in the manufacturing and assembly of optical systems, sub-systems and components. Ability to understand and work with 3D parametric CAD models is a must.
Qualifications
Position requires five plus years Mechanical Designer experience, preferably AS level degree or Technical School training. Background must include CAD proficiency (Autodesk Inventor desired) along with MS Office products skills, general machine shop knowledge and ability to work in a team environment with minimal direction.
