Materials Planning Manager responsible for Inventory management and planning, supply chain and Inbound Materials Planning and Management skills based Marlow
You will understand supply chain and ideally have some SIOP knowledge, be keen and enthusiastic with experience in a low volume high complexity business eg Electronic, Telecoms, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or Food industry
As a materials planning manager
Accountable for in-bound Material planning processes
Ensure materials are available to production on time and in full to enable on time
delivery to customers
Ttake responsibility for Inbound/Outbound & internal materials movements
Inventory control (including perpetual inventory counting and annual stock checks)
Warehousing, processes & Kitting functions.
Responsibility for deliveries to customers, managing documentation including invoicing,
packing and packaging, shipping and distribution.
Main responsibilities of materials planning manager
Performing all operations to prescribed safety, health and environmental (SHE)
principles.
Understand supply chain dynamics and set inventory with optimal cost and delivery
trade-offs.
Establish stocking policies and planning parameters for all parts
Eensure FAR and MMAS compliance as required.
Establish and lead daily/weekly stores, dispatch standup meetings, driving continuous
improvement of KPIs and role-modeling root cause problem solving.
Develop and implement robust, multi-year supply chain and material planning strategies
Develop strategic plans to drive inventory improvement
Compliance with relevant industry regulations
Compliance with Customer/Contract dictated packaging and shipping
Inbound Materials Planning and Management skills
