As part of our Marketing Team the Content Marketing Editor will manage the flow of content creation sources internally and externally and write and update content across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

Your main responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

• Responsible for planning, creating, editing and publishing marketing content on Jetstar.com
• Working with the Content Marketing Manager to develop content strategy, source and commission content from internal and external sources
• Working with CMS team to facilitate upload of content onto Jetstar.com
• Working with Digital team to ensure links between marketing and other content on Jetstar.com to optimise customer experience
• Working with Search agency to ensure SEO benefits are realised
• Distribution of content across wider Jetstar owned platforms
• Evaluation of content to report on success and engagement
• Work with a wide variety of internal stakeholders across digital, marketing and ancillary revenue to use content to drive incremental revenue to the business
• Share and implement best practice learnings with wider Marketing team

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, PR, Communications or Journalism
• Experience as a digital editor
• Excellent copy writing and editing ability
• A strong self-starter, with the ability to make informed decisions grounded in a customer point of view
• Extensive experience in editing, publishing and copywriting
• Extensive experience briefing and managing agencies, journalists and copywriters
• Proven ability to deal with senior management and senior stakeholders to turn business requirements into tactical content
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to brainstorm content topics
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and stakeholder management
• Highly motivated and able to deal with multiple time sensitive tasks and deliverables
• Thrives in a high-pressure environment
• Creative mind
