Description

Reporting to Director, Global Airport Infrastructure & Fuel, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, leading and managing the business data and transformation strategy across the Global Airport Infrastructure & Fuel department; He/she will also manage the respective industry groups, stakeholders and the delivery of the objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and promote the industry-wide airport and fuel data exchange strategy and implementation roadmap;

Developing a data standard development, and maintenance strategy for:

- the suite of e-Fueling standards;

- the Aviation Information Data Exchange (AIDX) standard, and;

- The Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) data exchange standard;

Lead and manage the Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) industry group; and develop the expansion strategy and roadmap

Define the Airport of the Future data review strategy in collaboration with other departments and divisions in IATA

Manage internal and external industry stakeholders to evangelize development and adoption of data exchange standards and platforms

Lead the update and delivery of XML standards for e-fueling from a data and business transformation aspect, including running of industry working groups and task forces

Manage the Data & Business Transformation Strategy team ensuring high performance and meeting agreed deliverables

Develop positions on all data and business transformation matters in the airports and fuel domain.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in Information Technology or Engineering or related subject or equivalent experience;

At least 5 years of working experience managing industry data standards projects and working groups;

Strong knowledge of data standards in the airports and fuel domain;

Strong understanding of data exchange patterns and technology constraints and opportunities in the airports and fuel domain;

Able to think out of the box, lead and stimulate continuous process improvement;

Track record of success in effectively inspiring and leading industry groups with international and multi-cultural stakeholders;

Leadership skills with ability to work with and influence senior industry executives, and to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate in concise and accurate ways to a range of audiences, including senior executives and small to large industry stakeholder groups;
