Manager Cargo Safety Assurance Auditor

With the aim to augment compliance capabilities and its adherence, Swiss WorldCargo (SWC) is looking for a full time auditor to support our Audit, Safety & Compliance organization. The Cargo Audit, Safety & Compliance organization is responsible to implement and ensure an effective safety assurance system within the cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines. The department is part of the SWISS safety satellite organization and ensures compliance with the essential legal, procedural and safety related requirements for the entire SWISS and Edelweiss network.

Ihre Herausforderung

* Performs audits to verify that standards mandated by the authorities and other requirements defined are carried out and ensured
* Monitors and assures that identified deficiencies are corrected by the responsible unit and that defined changes are effectively implemented
* Analysis of root causes and assesses the risk of audit findings
* Evaluates and rates safety related reports based on the Event Severity Classification method
* Supports the line management of SWC in assessing risks within their operational responsibility
* Promotes a corporate culture in which quality and safety have always first priority in all activities of all employees (quality and safety awareness)
* Supports the Head of Cargo Audit, Safety & Compliance to conduct investigations based on internal standards and, if required according to ICAO Annex 13 and EU 996/2010 including proper follow up
* Supports the yearly recurrent auditor training
* Provides guidance for other cargo auditors and assures a consistent quality amongst the auditor team (Check Auditor)

Ihre Qualifikation

* Qualified Dangerous Goods specialist (IATA Cat.6)
* Specialist in quality assurance and risk management (IATA auditor qualification certificate, or equivalent)
* High integrity, social and cultural competence
* Willingness to travel
* Good knowledge of relevant legal requirements (EASA OPS 965/2012 and EASA ORO.GEN.200)
* Ability to interpret legal requirements and convert them into actionable practices
* Ability to work with different levels of hierarchy and managing complex setup
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work independently
* An engaging personality that lives SWISS values and leadership principles
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment that is continuously challenging
